Zazoo's Hearing Update
Although no one from Jack London News, nor anyone reporting on behalf of Jack London News, attended the Zazoo's Cabaret License Hearing, here is the follow-up that we have received from our OPD Community Liason, Sandra Sanders-West:

"The hearing for Zazoo's was held last night. There were concerned community members of the Portabello establishment, as well as their security ,in attendance. The Zazoo Restaurant/ Club Owners, their security staff and the property owner were in attendance, as well. Both sides testified, under oath. A decision will be made by Barbara Killy, the Hearing Officer.
The community will be notified of her decision."

By the way, someone asked me today whether a Cabaret License meant "strippers" and I just wanted to clarify that it does not. It has to do with nightclub/live music.
